Neil Farber, MD
I am a retired academic internal medicine physician, having practiced academic general internal medicine for 40 years, teaching, researching and providing patient care in medical schools initially on the East Coast. For 12 years I was Professor of Clinical Medicine at University of California, San Diego, retiring at the end of April 2019. I graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a BA in Biology, and from the University of Pennsylvania with my MD degree. My academic interests are in education and teaching, especially in regards to patient-physician communication skills and medical ethics. I am a Docent at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, and as a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador has given lectures and classroom exercises about different topics of space exploration, at various schools, libraries, retirement homes and community centers.
