Join us on Saturday, April 26, for the 2025 Fleet Science Center Gala, Lessons in Chemistry: Celebrating Women in Science, as we recognize the trailblazing women who are changing the world, one chemical reaction at a time!

This year, we are honoring Dr. Julie Cowan Novak DNSc, RN, MA, CPNP, FAANP, FAAN, Adjunct Professor of Nursing and the first graduate of the Doctor of Nursing Science program from USD's Hahn School of Nursing. As both a philanthropist and a champion for providing community resources, care, and support, Dr. Novak's legacy as a trailblazing woman in science is uniquely San Diegan, and we look forward to sharing her story with you.
