Dr. Jessica Cassin is an assistant project scientist at the University of California, San Diego. She loves all things genetics, and has applied that love to everything from malaria transmission to epigenetic regeneration of nerves. Her current work examines the role of genes and mutations related to puberty and hormone release as well as the role of epitranscriptomics in egg development.
