Power Play San Diego

Power Play San Diego is all about the San Diego power grid—how it works, where the energy comes from and how it gets into your home.  

This interactive experience is a dynamic representation of a smart grid, a network of transmission lines, substations, and transformers. You’ll be responsible for working with these elements to deliver power from the production sources to homes, schools, and businesses in San Diego.  

The challenge is to keep the grid in balance while maximizing the use of renewable energy sources and avoiding a blackout. Are you up for it?
