Elva De Baca is a dedicated educator with over 30 years of experience teaching in the San Ysidro School District. Her passion for inspiring young minds led her to create and lead the Sci Phy program, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at teaching all students in the district the principles of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Her innovative approach to education earned her the prestigious PLTW Outstanding Launch Teacher award, recognizing her exceptional contributions to STEM education.
