The Fleet Science Center is excited to present not one but two captivating panels at this year's San Diego Comic-Con! In collaboration with the STEAMPoP network. Join us for thought-provoking discussions led by ambassadors from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) IF/THEN Initiative, including participants from the Fleet's New Science exhibition. The STEAMPop Network members are Fleet Science Center, EcoLogik Institute, Nerd Nite San Diego, StarWarsologies Podcast, Cosplay for Science, and Dr. Ron Coleman.
This year, we're exploring the science behind your favorite names in pop culture. Join the Fleet on Friday, July 26, from 4–5 p.m. and dive into Asimov's Foundation: Math, Morality and Making Humans and on Saturday, July 27, from 6–7 p.m. and discover the scientific applications in For All Mankind–Historic Fiction, Real Science.
