Fleet Science Center provides hands-on workshops for Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts throughout the year. Engaging workshops offer in-depth science explorations and provide focused learning experiences that go toward completing scouts' badge requirements.

Scout Workshops

Workshops are scheduled on specific Saturdays, and the timings for these workshops will be shared with other troops. This offers an excellent chance to connect and interact with fellow Scout troops. Each workshop is led by a member of our education team and includes admission to the exhibit galleries after the workshop.

We adhere to the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts chaperone policies, requiring each troop present to be accompanied by two unrelated and scout-registered adults. These chaperones receive free general admission and accompany their scouts in the workshop classroom. Additional adults who are not registered with scouting associations will not be permitted in the classroom, unless the number of scouts participating from one troop exceeds the ratio for the two leading adults.
