IMAX® Documentary Film Festival

Experience a day of cinematic wonders at the Fleet with the IMAX Documentary Film Festival. Each of the documentary films will transport you to wondrous places with breathtaking cinematography that can only be experienced on a Giant Dome screen. The festival is a rare opportunity to see special films in the world's first IMAX Dome Theater—all in one day! Enjoy past favorites (this time with our brand new IMAX with Laser system) or discover amazing films that have never been shown in the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater before.
 
Join us Sunday, October 16, and see a different documentary film screening every hour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. See below for a complete schedule and a short synopsis.
 
 
Admission to one documentary film is included with your regular Fleet Experience ticket and members may use their digital theater vouchers. Become an Adventurer Member and see them all! This level membership includes unlimited theater admission for two—that's right, UNLIMITED.

Dream Big

From the Great Wall of China and the world’s tallest buildings to underwater robots and solar cars, Dream Big celebrates the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels big and small, and shows how engineers push the limits of innovation in unexpected and amazing ways.

*Please note: Seating for each screening is limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the film(s) of your choice to line up for theater admission. Schedule subject to change.
